Powerful engine
The Lumag HC10pro Wood chipper is fitted with a powerful and reliable Loncin 212cc 4 stoke overhead valve engine. You will find this engine easy to start and very reliable and with 7 HP its more than powerful enough to get the job done.
Chipping System
The wood chipper is fitted with a duplex drum system driven by a twin belt drive. The duplex drum system has 2 Blades and counter blade. As the drum spins the blade chips the material against the counter blade. When the blades are worn out they can be rotated for further use. The DC10 Has and extra large chipper drum, this allows the drum to carry far more kenetic energy in to the material being chipped. The larger drum (Compared to the Outland DC9 & Lumag HC10) also allows a greater volume of material to be processed greatly imporving the productivity compared to the smaller model.
Chasiss
The HC10pro Wood Chipper is designed to be easy to move around. The intake hopper is fitted with handles allowing you to tilt the chipper back on its large pneumatic tyres and push the machine around your garden with relative ease.
Hoppers
The intake hoppers are large and allow the feeding of “wonky branches” into the chipper with minimal pre-cutting. As with all chippers you will get the odd blockage. The intake hopper and outlet chute are hinged, so with the removal of 2 nuts you can hinge the hopper or chute open quickly and easily aiding the clearing of blockages.
Use
These are great little chippers and ideal for chipping branches around your garden with a maximum size of 10cm. You will find 10cm branches slow work and if you regularly need to process wood of this size, we suggest a bigger machine. From experience we have found that for continuous work the machine is ideal for material around 75-90mm . This machine is a wood chipper as apposed to a Chipper shredder (or Shedder), So leafy branches, and woody shrubs work well, but the machine is not suitable for use solely with green waste such as leave.
Additional features
In addition to the premium engine and the 360 Deg Swivel the Lumag RAMBO HC10Pro is fitted with an hour clock to monitor use it and is supplied with a cover.
